Plates for divers applications

Plates and blank plates, rounds and rings in every thickness and in-between-thicknesses, milled or milled on both sides. This is the offer of Martinrea Honsel´s plate rolling plant.

In the segment of plates we deliver on customer demands semi-finished products in thicknesses from 5 to 100 mm with maximum dimensions of 1.500 x 4.000 mm. We use non-thermosetting alloys as Al 99,5, Al Mn 1 and Al Mg 4,5 Mn as well as thermosetting alloys as Al Mg Si 1 and Al Mg Si 0,5, but if required also special alloys. Our product range includes beneath standard plates also cut to fixed dimension as well as rounds and specific shapes. For all our products a film coating on both sides of the plate is possible.

The “Honsel-Special-Plan” (H-S-P) plate has also been successful across Europe. Milled on both sides, this plate with very low intrinsic tensions, a finely grained and pore-free microstructure with very good mechanical properties and outstanding processability in thicknesses between 8 and 50 mm and maximum dimensions of 1.250 x 2.500 mm is used in many industrial applications. The tight tolerances regarding thickness and flatness make our plates specially suitable for applications in toolmaking and for engineering parts. To protect the surface we apply 100 µm plastic film on your H-S-P.
